I'll go out on a limb and say his suspension will mean he never plays for the Leafs again. Minimum 5 games. Traded in the offseason.

I understand that the Bruins were getting away with a lot. That was a terribly officiated game. Sure.
But it doesn't justify Kadri turning his stick into a weapon. It was a selfish and stupid play at a critical time in the game. I'd be furious with him if I was his teammate.

Agreed. I said after the game if I were Dubas that would be the last game he played for Toronto (assuming it is a lengthy suspension and the Leafs lose to Boston). You can't trust him to keep his emotions in check. It was an incredibly selfish play.

It's actually been three years in a row. He went really low on Ovechkin two playoffs ago and got Ovi in the knee. I can't remember if he was suspended or not.

I saw a video on Twitter this morning about all his cheap shots, low hits and head shots. This is what happens when suspensions aren't long enough to be a deterrent.

I don't think he will be dealt in the offseason, as that would be selling low.

NHL GMs don't really play the game of buying low and selling high. They're often backed into a corner and trade from a position of weakness.

Only when forced to. The Leafs won't be forced to trade Kadri this summer, so they may as well hold on to him until his value increases.
