I'll say 2 games. I actually don't think it was as bad as people are making out. The refs let way too much go in this game, IMO. Pastrnak's hit on Muzzin could easisly have been a major. I'm neither a fan of Kadri, the Leafs, or cross checks to the head...

I say 2 games, like someone else already mentioned, I don’t think it as bad as many are making it out to be. Definitely suspension worthy, but not 5 or even 10 games like some have mentioned.

What boggles my mind is how there is not even a hearing for DeBrusk’s knee on knee hit. He’s been dirty both games so far and has been getting away with it. But that’s the NHL, bushleague.

I don’t think it was so vicious that the act itself requires more than a couple of games. But this is something like the 5th time that Kadri is facing suspension for targeting an opponents head. That’s what is going to bump it up to more than a couple of games

i agree , repeat offender so the game suspension # is more than it would normally be. Olczyk and Jones both agreed on 10 games on the post game show so it will probably be somewhere in between 5-10. Debrusk got up and seemed fine but what if it went the other way? Debrusk laid motionless for a while and it looked serious. He could have really been hurt and taken out on a stretcher if damage was done to neck/head. Physical play/clean checks is one thing but hits to the head are another and could end a career! If the Bruins had an elbow/knee infraction then they should have been penalized accordingly but a lot of stuff goes on away from the puck and refs eyes. It's playoff hockey and this shit goes on but ya a line has to be drawn.

Agreed. Thank you. Although, the league itself is truly at fault because they do not discipline its officials for incompetence.
