Offer Karlsson & Scheifele to get McDavid? REP Given!

I consider Karlsson to be the McDavid of defencemen, and in our pool having several top D each year has been a big part of why I've won all three years. Also, centers are nowhere near as hard to replace as top D. That being said, McDavid is McDavid.

The guy who has him doesn't want to trade him, but I also know that he loves both Scheifele AND Karlsson. If it will be accepted is a question, but my question to you is - should I offer it? Is losing Karlsson worth the upgrade from Scheifele to McDavid?

If I did it, my keepers would be McDavid, Eichel, Kucherov, Huberdeau, Tarasenko and Krug.

That's how I'd look at it. In a limited keeper, whoever you replace Karlsson with needs to provide you with 50+points to break even.

Seeing as you have Seguin & Tank as potential drops.... You're looking at 180-190pts with one of them as your replacement keeper. Tank's still a 70pt player.

You come out ahead by a decent margin. Scheifele would have to hit 105pts to make this a wash.

It's a good deal for you. Especially with your replacement keeper options
