Default Hall or Benn, Now & future?

How are both players perceived in your league?

both had down years and injuries.

Hall is 27. Benn is 29. Hall is UFA next season, which will mean he might have another career year.

Which one is more likely to be more consistant and provide 75+ pts next year and 3 years from now?

I know Benn is more of a multi-cat stud, but then again if he is not providing 75+ pts there are many other options that provide peripherals in the 55-60 range..

I think I would rather own Hall, but if you can, wait untl later in the summer when we hear updates that his rehab is 100% on track.

I acquired Benn at the deadline on a team that was trending toward missing the playoffs.
I look at Benn and see an eerily similar decline with him as we did with Giroux two seasons back.
Well, Giroux followed his 56pts up with a 100pt season last year.
Will Benn hit 100? no. but should he get back over 70?
    I don't see why not.

I agree with EB to wait for Hall updates, or as long as you can.
I'd also wait to see if it's released Benn has been dealing with any injuries himself.

If you want to keep the MC. it's easily Benn.
Hall offers more risk/reward for points when healthy.
If he's healthy entering camp, I'd want Hall,
periphs are easier to acquire off the wire than 90pt forwards

As a Hall owner, I'd probably move him for Benn. That said, I don't think Hall is done as an top flight player and he had a weird knee issue that it sounds like would have been dealt with quicker if they had found the reason for the pain faster. I might feel different about Hall if he's flying in preseason, but right now I might be tempted to go with Benn.

What Eskimo said... we have to wait and see how Hall's rehab is going. If he is healthy, Im picking him over Benn - that would be my answer yesterday. The Jack Huhes factor makes my pick easier today.

It’s Hall no question for me. MVP on a contract year vs a peaked Benn playing for a very defensive coach. After contract year Hall will feel the Hughes bonus. Barring no setback in his recovery, it’s Hall for me.

I don’t see Benn hitting 75 points under the current circumstances.
