I’ve been picking the Blues to finally breakout and win the west for what feels like a decade. I’m done with that. I say jets in 6 (which of course means the blues will end up going all the way now)

Biggest difference with this Blues team vs. previous teams... They enter the playoffs with an actual #1G. Every other year it's been a 'who'll start?' Elliott v. Halak v. Allen.
Until this year, everyone talked about St.L having one of the best D's in the league. Pietrangelo in form is a huge + over the 1st half of the year.

Because Scheifele ran him over on the first play and got a penalty and the fans didn't like the penalty.

Looked up the replay, not sure what they were upset about on that one. Would have been pissed if it didn't get called from the St. Louis side, would have felt I got away with one if it didn't get called from the WPG side. Funny they were arguing it really.
And ya, I was pretty sure that's why they were doing it, to get to a rookie goaltender, but usually there's a reason for booing like that. Pretty funny they chose that event to spur it. Guess you jump on what you can get. Anyhow, Seemed to backfire on them pretty significantly. Probably just try to leave him alone going forward given how locked in he was that game. Saved it for St. Louis for sure.
