Bruins have been awful mishandling the puck in the 2nd. Good on the Leafs for taking advantage.

Well.....the 3rd period was an absolute shutdown seminar by the Leafs. Good on them.

Curious decision by Cassidy to sit Backes and go for the speed game. Something they aren’t really known for. I’d expect them to switch it up for Game 2, bring in Backes and play the heavy game that they are more accustomed to which could be bad news for the Leafs.

I read somewhere that he was benched becasue he "almost hurt Charlie McAvoy in practice".

    Also, DeBrusk isn't practicing.

If I am Toronto, that is the last game Kadri plays for me. You can't trust him to keep his emotions in check. This is 2 playoffs in a row that he severely hurt his team by selfishly getting suspended. Hell, drop the gloves and take an instigator. Debrusk deserved something but you can't crosscheck a guy in the head.

How many games does he get this year? Not as brutal of a play as last year, but clearly has not learned from last year. And he got 3 games last year right? My guess is that he gets two for this one.

Kadri has been offered an in-person hearing. Doesn't guarantee 5+ but seems to be leaning that way.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone say NHL refs call “too many penalties”.

He already got 4 for a similar play *this season*. Should be 10+. It won’t be, but it should be.
