Rask has the contract, Rask starts in net.

Last year WSH vanquished their demons in PIT. I think the Leafs do the same this year (in 6).

Ya, Rask prolly starts, but the numbers do suggest that it really should be Halak.

    Rask last 20 games:
    13-5-2, 0.903s%, 2.55GAA

    Halak last 20 games:
    11-6-2, 0.914s%, 2.47GAA

Halak played 3 games vs Toronto and ended up with a 2-1-0 record but those games were in November/December and he gave up 7 goals (1,3,3).

Rask played only once vs Toronto and won the game in January. Gave up 2 goals in that game while saving 30 of 32 shots (Leafs had Hutch in net funny enough)

both Rask & Halak blew up for 5 goal games in the past 10 days.
Problem - that's been Andersen's baseline for the past month.

If Toronto wants to have a chance they need to be tight on that top line.
find a way through the neutral zone with speed avoiding turnovers.
That boston transition game in neutral ice killed them all season & in the playoff games last year.
Smart fundamental hockey from Gardiner. Keep It Simple Stupid!

I expect Hainsey to play 5x5 with Rielly.
    Muzzin to settle Gardiner down
& Dermott's minutes to increase game by game.

    Going to be a slugfest.
a well rested TB will be waiting
Matthews needs to answer the bell & give them two scoring lines this year.

Can Toronto shut down Boston’s top line and can Boston change up its lines if Toronto does. Those are two big questions that I think we might see

    Boston in 7 again!

I think this series goes 7 games. My heart says Toronto, my head says Boston. I went with Boston in 7.

Boston in 5. One team can defend, one team can't. It becomes apparent quickly in this series which is which.

If the Leafs can shut down the B's top line, TOR will win in 6. Otherwise BOS in 7. Went with my head instead of my heart and void BOS in 7.
