Which set of goalie stats are yours, and how many are you going to need to take to win the matchup?
In the finals. All Goalie cats are up for grabs. The stat lines:
W L GAA SV% S0
1 3 3.34 .863 0
3 3 3.43 .897 0
My Goalies:
Andersen @ NYI
Lehner v. Tor
Subban v. Edm
Fleury v. Edm
He's starting Rittich vs. LA.
I'm heavily considering benching Andersen... two eggs vs. Isles & he's a bed shitter of late.
My top two thoughts:
1. Lehner & Subban/MAF (whoever starts) - Isles at home and that stingy D.
Subban is much better at home than on the road
& Edm isn't exactly lighting it up
.
2. Subban & MAF - Just take the Edm game and avoid Tor-NYI altogether.
Going for the guaranteed win and benching Vegas G's doesn't seem to make here... not with GAA so close & having a W edge - but could take the hit on the L.
thoughts?

I would start Lehner and whoever goes for VGK.

Makes sense. Thanks.
I think I would roll Lehner and Subban in that case. The more goalie starts, the likelihood of bringing your goaltending avgs to at least league average increase.
As for the Ws/Ls, these two guys are probably the favourites in their games, but even if you lose one, it shouldn't be the end of the world.

Subban's in for sure... I'm still not 100% sold on starting Lehner vs. Tor. just feels like a trap game. Ugh... Leafs have played horribly vs. Isles twice too...
it's hard to leave him in and remove my homer hat.. heh...
thanks guys... I think I'll put him in and just walk away for the day!

i been thinking on this one..what are the chances they sit Lehner? in this case it may be better to start the VGK duo and get what comes out of it

Well... f---- who saw Andersen showing up in this one? god he's frustrating this past month. Bitter sweet loss with Lehner. Quality start, I drop 3-4 in L's but bump GAA 3.25 - 3.34 with Subban & Rittich to play.
Cgy sitting their top 4Dmen in this one... Should make things interesting.
Trochek's SHG was huge. Puts me in position to steal one of the cats I hate the most!
thanks everyone.

a 2 GA 36Sv loss... Rittich won with 2 GA... that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
He snagged a SHP last night too... the odds??! I'm up 7-5-3. With so many close cats. Sv% seems safe, 3.00 vs. 3.07 GAA and 3-2 in W. He's rolling the Bos duo vs. CBJ tonight - hoping that bites him.
As it turned out, I had no bad option last night. I still agree, benching Freddy was the safest thing to do... recent body of work considered

Boston actually hasn't been great lately, while CLB has been hot. Hope it crumbles your way tonight!
