I figured the bolded part is worth sharing.#Canadiens sign 2017 1st RD pick Ryan Poehling to a 3 year ELC which starts this season.
Poehling's Signing Age is 20, meaning his contract will not slide. However his Waiver Age is 19, meaning he'd need 11 NHL gms this season to earn a pro season towards Expansion eligibility.

He could turn into a decent 2C, solid 3C down the road.

I fell bad for him already. He's been overhyped because he's a center drafted by the Canadiens. Still a solid prospect, just overhyped.
