Mittelstadt might have the better pure skill, but I like Kotka's outlook better.
Kotkaniemi
Mittlestadt
With cats in sig, who has the brighter future?
Thanks in advance.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I wouldn't trade my Mittlestadt for Kotkaniemi in any of my fantasy leagues. Nothing wrong with Kotkaniemi, but I prefer Mitts more.

Give me pure skill over a safe bet any day. #allin
Preface, I'm a Habs fan....but I'm also a Mittlestadt owner and I'd prefer Kotkaniemi
Mittlestadt has been given almost the same opportunities in Buffalo that Kotkaniemi has in Montreal.
About 13 minutes a game, almost 2 minutes a game on the PP and both have been up and down on the 2nd & 3rd line.
Kotka has out produced Mittlestadt, in the albeit small sample size.
Skill wise, I don't think many people appreciate how talented Kotkaniemi is.
He has great vision, controls play, protects the puck extremely well and has a heck of a one timer.

I think Mittelstadt is overrated offensively so I'd go with Kotkaniemi here.

Kotka..
but keep in mind Habs's team never has any player that do above 60-70 pts a year..or very rarely. Could be how they play their system or prefer to have 5-10 40pts player instead of 1 or 2 80+..
so for those reasons, i would have to go Mittlesadt
