Default Current top 10 keeper D going into next season.

I am just curious how do you rank the current D in standard multi cat leagues (G,A,PPP,SOG).

    My list below:

    1.) Burns
    2.) Karlesson
    3.) Rielly
    4.) Carlson
    5.) Hedman

This is where it gets really tough for me.

    6.) Letang
    7.) Jones
    8.) Dahlin
    9.) Giordano
    10.) Chabot
    12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.

    Rielly

    Dumba
    Hedman
    Krug
Letang (trust him at your expense)

Giordano (his age and near impossibility of repeating historic season is a neg)
    Josi
    Dahlin

Chabot, Jones, Klingberg just outside top 10 keepers

Only due to 1 year sample size
    GUSTAFFSON - 50pts baby!!

Then a slew of others all interchangeable. Some interchangeable with the last grouping.
One down year, I'm not downgrading Hedman as much as some.

We're getting a lot of rankings but not much of a breakdown here, so I'll do that.

    Top tier.
We know it's Karlsson and Burns. No surprises, no real arguments. 70+ points when healthy. Burns gets the nod because of Karlsson's groin.

    Tier 2
Carlson is one of the top D scorers over the last two seasons. Top team, in his prime, no challengers, etc.
The rest of this tier are the guys almost guaranteed 60 points. Letang hits it even when missing 10-15 games.

    Tier 3
The guys that should hit 60 next year.
Dumba would have easily, and will be the focal point of that PP.
Klingberg could pass Dumba, and maybe even jump to my tier 2 if he stops missing time.
Jones is a workhorse, and on a strong CLB team next year, I would be surprised if he doesn't hit 60.
Krug has the easy 60 point upside, but is becoming a Letang lite.

    HMs explanation:
Hedman I see as a 55 point guy that won't be getting enough of a slice of the Tbay pie.
Werenski, Dahlin, Chabot I think hit 60 points soon, but maybe not next year.
Subban, Doughty, and anyone I didn't mention all have warts and/or team issues (team is awful, or team has too many good D), but the upside can be there.

Yah D are tricky when keeping them I usually like having players I know that are bankable to produce, aside from Letang who the risk isn't production but health. Seems like Carlson has moved up to the 3/4 slot after repeating last years numbers.

    Pretty close to my list.
I would move Hedman above Barrie. Krug would shuffle down below Hedman (now in fifth position), and Jones above Letang.

I don't mind this list. In my dynasty I have Burns and Barrie from this list, as well as Josi/Yandle/Werenski who are nice options, and Hamilton in hopes he gets back to normal
