Seguin or Keller + Heiskanen?

Wow. So interesting to hear how you guys view things. I have to admit I'm paranoid about goalies. But some great points made.

One thing I would say about Eskimo Brother's last comment is that I would never protect forward B.Gallagher (46 pts) over defenceman T.Barrie (47 pts). This is because we have to have at least 4 defencemen. A 47 pt D man is worth a lot more than a forward with the same pts.

Reason I protect Gallagher over Barrie, is that I expect 60pts out of Gallagher next year, and 40 out of Barrie. That mean you're gaining 13 points with your keep, instead of losing 7 (difference of 20 points). I feel like that's more easily made up at the draft. That being said, you know your league better, and if you don't think it makes sense going into the draft that way, I would defer to your league experience.

I'm another one who agrees there's no way I'd keep Koskinen, Markstrom, Demko at the cost of losing Seguin. Tyler's too valuable to pass over for mediocre goalies on poor teams.

Heiskanen has a bunch of production from Klingberg being out, so he's not a great option. I might actually prefer Shattenkirk, but likely neither if the cost is Seguin.

Dumping Koskinen & Heiskanen allows you to keep another top end forward, while keeping the Vancouver tandem in net. If you prefer Koskinen and dump Markstrom, that's fine. If you are willing to dump both of them, you could go for another forward who I think is safer than the 2 goalies.

I'd protect Demko no matter what, due to the cheap cost, and the upside.
