It's kinda ironic because it looks like Boychuck is about to load up a "hold" or possible "hit" on Voracek because he realizes Voracek will get the puck before Boy can.

Voracek just beat Boychuck to the contact, this happens a lot, but Voracek was too high and made Boychuck cartwheel.

You can't compare plays because the NHL has contradicted itself too many times, even recently. At the end of the day it's randomness.

I know you can't because of their inconsistency... but I think those would be the arguments that Voracek and NHLPA would make in appeal.

I'm guessing the appeal brings it down to one game. Not because of examples, but because he appealed.

I think so as well. He straightens up to take the contact that Boychuk is going to initiate.

Malkin did pretty much the same thing and wasn’t suspended. Here Voracek is. DOPS at it again. For my sake I think both were worthy of suspension.
