What do we do with Erik Karlsson?

If he is not put on IR (for those of us not in a Yahoo IR+ league, unfortunately) he is wasting away on my bench and costing me 4 starts next week. Palmieri is on the wire and I could start him all four games next week (just an example of an add).

Do I wait and see if he is moved to IR? Do I drop Erik MF Karlsson??? Im in 1st and killed it this year I'm not gonna lose in the semis with Karlsson wasting away on my bench

Yeah I guess I am between:

1).waiting to see if he is moved to IR or just left "Out"
2).just dumping now so I don't miss out on Palmieri/Donato/McCann/Bjugstad/Zucker/Galchenyuk/Getzlaf/Konecny or whoever I decide to pick up hahaha

Don't miss out... if he moves to IR and someone else grabs him, he's still not an asset to you with 5 weeks left in the season.

I think I would give it until Saturday to see if he's placed on IR, if not I'd drop him for a skater, Palmeiri is a great add and won't last long.

He just declared himself out for pretty much the rest of the regular season and will only come back for a “few” games as prep for the playoffs.

I've been sitting on him as well, waiting to either get desperate or get more news. Likely going to dump him for a streamer tomorrow.

ESPN allowed me to throw him on IR earlier this week. They marked him as O (out) which is IR eligible.

If you're not keeping Karlsson and your pool doesn't go into the NHL playoffs he's become droppable. Essentially in my keep two in sig I'd drop him this week if he wasn't IR eligible. No way I'm keeping him above McDavid and Kucherov. In one year leagues and keepers where he won't be kept, it's time to kick him to proverbial curb.

Yeah i went ahead and dropped Karlsson for Palmieri....a very anti-climatic end to having him on my team this year :/

It just wasnt worth the risk. New Jerseys schedule is just perfect next week...even if the are a dumpster fire Palmieri fills out the stat sheet pretty good.

Now if I can just get Letang and Evander Kane healthy...smh I am limping to the finish line haha
