Default Johansen's SO winner vs Wild

Does anyone else think that there is no way Ryan Johansen's shootout winner vs the Wild should have counted? Stalock makes the save with his pad, then Johansen pushed the puck and the pad into the net.

I don't know how to post a link but @CJzero posted a video of the "goal" on twitter.

It all looks like one motion and he doesn't make contact twice so I'd say good goal

Sometimes when a pad is pushed, the goal counts. Sometimes it doesn't. Welcome to the NHL.

    The only consistency.... inconsistency.

Johansen's goal is at the 3:40 mark of the video.

I see Stalock's complaint but think the goal is fine. Both the pad and the stick are fighting to get to the same area at the same time. I do not know the exact wording of the rule but it does not look like Stalock was set and got pushed into the net, more like the shot carried forward into the pad and scored. Did they review the goal before allowing it to stand?

If they did review it then it was a 15 second review at most. I couldn't really tell from the video feed that I was watching the game on if they actually went upstairs or not, but there was some kind of discussion and then the video went to the ref at centre who then pointed at the ice to signal a good goal.

Either that or he needs to stop getting home after 4am the night before games.
