Dustin Byfuglien - Your thoughts
I have an owner that is looking for 2 top picks for next year and is willing to trade Dustin Byfuglien. I'm thinking of making an offer but wanted to see what you guy's think about Buff.
Does he still have some good years ahead of him or is he now trending downwards? I like that he plays for Winnipeg and my weakness this year was in the HITS and +/- categories. The only thing holding me back from making an offer is his age and recent injuries.
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

He is a beast when he plays, a real difference maker in H2H...but has been hurt a fair bit this year..
Anyone hear an update on an expected return? I am hoping he helps in our playoffs that starts next week.

He's not a guy I would add to my keeper core due to age and reliability. If he can be acquired cheap as a rental because the lengthy injury is making his owner impatient then maybe I'd do that, but who knows if he even plays much before your season would be over. The Jets are comfortable enough in their playoff spot to not have to rush him back.

I wouldn't touch him if it's just for this season only. Keeper and with IR slots I may lob an offer but I'm not even sure he comes back this season (at least before NHL playoffs start).
