Seems like an easy choice to me in favor of Strome. Maybe that changes at some point, maybe not.

If you look too far into the future you end up missing what's right in front of you. I take D. Strome.

Long term? Not sure there's a wrong answer here. I love both kids and both have bright futures in this league. Zadina is getting an early audition starting this week so hopefully his progression that he's shown in the AHL this year carries over into the NHL this year and beyond.

For me, flip a coin. I guess a lot would depend on your team needs too. One is a center and one is a winger. Do positions even count?

No Idea who will become the better NHL'er down the road. I do know if my team was close to winning I would probably take Strome. If my team was a bottom feeder I would take Zadina.

I'd go strome but in 2 to 3 years I think zadina will be better.

Def Strome. Who knows how Zadina's development will go.

right? while the masses were saying he was a bust, I was attempting to acquire.

I expect Zadina to suffer the Strome fate. In another 1-2 years, I think his value will be low and cheap to acquire, before he goes off.

Yes, I am saying I think it's a couple years before Zadina offers anything in the NHL.

Are people really buying the Dylan Strome who has 37 points in 39 games in Chicago? Do people think this is what to expect from him going forward?

The Blackhawks are scoring on 16.7% of their shots while he is on the ice. He's scored on 19.7% of his own shots. Neither of those numbers is close to sustainable. As hot as Strome and the Blackhawks have been, he is still on pace for less than 60 points this year.

This is not to say that I would pick Zadina over Strome but people should really temper their expectations on Strome. I would say that long term it's a coin flip where I would choose Zadina but the GM who owns Strome should definitely be getting more than just Zadina to make that move because Strome is an NHLer while Zadina has played 2 NHL games.

Long term in fantasy hockey should be 3 years. In that time frame.. yes, it's should be all Strome. Do I expect 75pts from Strome next year? No. 60+? yes. 70+ the year after? he's got the chops, especially if scoring stays up.

Zadina is going to be more of a project to get to his potential. As a prospect, he should be seen as a long term hold. Not an overnight success. Next summer, there will open a buy real low opportunity on Zadina, unless 19/20 he proves me dead wrong.
