No doubt about that for me too. I grabbed him with one of the last picks in the draft, and he has been my best dman this year. Four straight multi-point games to help me win round one of my H2H playoffs, and I'm off to a good start in round 2.

    Bench: M. Rossi, C. Glass, M. Maccelli, M. Dumba, K. Shattenkirk, F. Andersen
Prospects of Note: L. Stankoven, J. Lekkerimaki, D. Yurov, B. Clarke

both assists on DeBrincat goals.. no Kane involved there. Kinda feels like Ghosts or Klingbergs first year

all this talk about Gus, we're missing out on the DeBrincat train a bit.. 36 goals... 64pt in 64gp.

Since November 21 he has 48 points in 53 games, which is a 74 point pace over 82 games.

I think it is safe to say he has arrived. I would be very surprised if he doesn't put up 60+ points next year, barring injury.

For those in multicat leagues like mine, his peripherals have been encouraging too. In the month of March he has 37 SOG, 31 Hits, 25 Blocks in 13 games (82 game pace of 233 SOG, 195 Hits, 158 Blocks). Hopefully he keeps up this new rate of peripheral production (or at least doesn't regress too significantly), because it has been delicious on top of his elite scoring.

In a keep 12, I took him in the 15th round of the redraft... Essentially the 27th ROUND!! In a points only dynasty inaugural draft, I took him in the 26th round.

Hands down, the best value draft pick all season.

Yeah, I'm hoping he will still be on the board when we do our draft for next year. I'm targeting him with the 5th pick in the 1st round. Our draft is of rookies, drops and anyone who isn't owned .

He was already crazy valuable when he was *just* scoring at a 70 point pace. Now that he is also shooting at a 200-250 SOG pace and hitting at a 150-200+ hit pace lately, my goodness the sky is the limit for his potential value if he keeps it up. He's only 6 foot 197 lbs, so I never had him pegged for having a physical game like this...

In my multi-cat league that counts G, A, +/-, Hit, Blk, PIM, STP, and TOI Fantrax says he is the 9th most valuable player in the league (92.01) over the past 60 days, 7th most valuable (91.87) over the past 30 days, and over the past 14 days he is tied with Bobrovsky for most valuable player in the league (100.00). Hard to believe this past offseason I almost cut him when I had to trim my roster from 40 to 38 players to make room for two entry draft picks lolol
