Apparently Brassard had just stepped onto the ice for the Panthers pre-game skate preparing to play the Avalanche. Brassard stepped off and walked down the hall to meet his new teammates who were preparing for their game against the Panthers.

I love that conditional pick going back to Colorado. They get a 6th if they don't re-sign the soon-to-be 32-year-old struggling Brassard. I think that's something they can avoid!
