    Default Who to grab..

Have a free roster spot and there are a couple guys available. Who would you take? (FAAB: $78/100. Only needed if player is in waivers)

    W. Simmonds (FA)
    V. Trocheck (W 2/26)
    B. Horvat (FA)
    J. Anderson (W 2/26)
    R. Getzlaf (FA)
    J. Voracek (FA)
    B. Tkachuk (FA)
    N. Hischier (FA)
    M. Zuccarello (FA)
    B. Coleman (FA)
    D. Keith (FA) (Letang is in my IR+ spot after all)

Trocheck is a no brainer right? How much of the FAAB would you use, if any, to guarantee it?

Does your scoring include +/-? FOWs? PIMs? Def points?

    Thanks.

I actually lean towards Vorachek. He's scoring a lot more than Trochek is, with similar name value.

Voracek has definitely been playing better lately, my only reasoning to counter that is that Trocheck might have a chance to crack my keeper list while I don't think Voracek would.

Now that I think about it though, I'm not sure I can really stomach another pure center on the squad. Three is plenty and I'll be damned if I'm cutting Bergeron, Monahan or Petts...

I like Trocheck and Horvat out of the list, but factoring in positional need, I'd go Voraceck or Tkachuk. A dman would be nice, but Keith/Chicago only has 2 games next week, which is into H2H playoffs (at least for me). Maybe a different dman?

I ended up getting voracek.. if it were category scoring I'd probably go Tkachuk. Hopefully I don't regret it!

So I figured I'd put some available defensemen here just in case, as there are actually a couple worth considering and some... lets call it "Letang insurance"- for the playoffs may be better for me than Voracek getting a spot start or two.

The [entirely too long] list of available Dmen:

    R. McDonough
    J. Schultz
    J. Gardiner [DTD]
    J. Morrisey (W 2/28) [O]
    D. Keith
    T. DeAngelo
    M. Green (W 2/28) [Surprisingly no injury designation]
    R. Gudas
    A. Larsson (He has to be good right? He was traded for MVP Taylor Hall after all! \s)
    B. Montour
    B. Seabrook
    J. Boychuk
    R. Hagg
    N. Pionk

Unrelated, add Anthony Mantha to the mix as he just showed up on waivers

I like Schultz the best of those options, but I would probably just hold out with what you have and hope Letang really is just DTD. I wouldn't drop any active forward or goalie on your roster for Schultz in a points league. If Letang goes on IR, you may need to reevaluate for playoffs.
