    Hi all!

I'm looking for a rookie to complete my line-up.
Do you think Hughes will finish the season with Vancouver?

I have Oesterel that i'm thinking to switch with Hughes.
I could keep Hughes for next season also.

    Should I do it?
    Thanks!

I think we need a little more info. Do you need a rookie specifically? What are your league settings and scoring categories? Is Oesterle your bottom defenceman, or maybe you should consider dropping your bottom F/G? Is Hughes the only one available, if not, what are the other options? What kind of keeper rules do you have?

What other options on top of Hughes? With Playoffs being a factor, you may want to get someone on a team slightly better than Vancouver. Still a chance they make it, so maybe still a solid option.
And what are your keeper rules? You mentioned you "could" keep him?

    There's no good players left.
Either I keep Oesterele or I take Hughes.
Keeper rules, we keep 9 or 10 players at the end of the year, so i have the choice to keep him or trade him for next season.

Assuming he comes up soon, he should be an upgrade over Oesterle. Sounds like a good move to make.

if you're looking at your league playoffs this season? I expect Oesterle to be a better option over the last 5-10 game than Hughes TBH.
Van's going to get overrun as a whole.

If it's a move with 19/20 season as primary focus, then yeah, that's a solid move.

But do you think Hughes will play the rest of the season?
I saw that Vancouver might call him up, but if eh dont play, I'll stick with Oesterele...

They can't call him up. He's playing in the NCAA.. they have to wait for his season to finish before they can sign him. That depends on when Michigan's season ends.

There’s talk that if Hughes plays 10 games this season he’d become eligible for the Seattle expansion draft in 2021.
Theres no way Vancouver allows this to happen, so expect 9 games from the kid.
