    Default Young potential peripheral players?

    Hey all,

I'm part of a 16 team deep fantasy league, with 10 minor spots (to be moved to 13 in the summer)

I'm tanking hard right now in order to get good picks and rebuild in 1-3 years, I've got good foundations so theoretically if I do good in the draft (3 1st round picks) I could end up in the playoffs next year. However, for now I'm focused on losing a few of my big peripheral point getters, such as Blake Coleman & Brandon Tanev, who are both in the top 70 players for my league because of hits/blocks/sog and trade them for some younger versions of themselves.

Problem is I'm not completely up to speed with this side of the fantasy league so I'm not sure who I should be looking at, any ideas? At the moment I'm thinking Lawson Crouse & Jack Roslovic could be two potential candidates.

    Thoughts?

Roslovic I would remove. Offensively gifted, but hits/pim's ?? that's not him. He's not a banger... Jayce Hawyrluk is though.

I would really hesitate to move Coleman though. He's juuuust breaking out.
Any rebuild you do, he should be producing at or better than now.
You'd be entering a dangerous cycle of constant rebuild if you trade players as soon as they hit stride for the next one.

That's fair, thanks for the input, I probably should keep a couple of older players.

Brutal, I traded Hawryluk a week or two back haha. Would you say Tanev is ok to trade?

If you're looking for bangers that can contribute decently offensively? then yes, I would. There's always 2-4 Tanev's that emerge each year... Fewer coleman's.

Miles Wood is another solid option
Sam Bennett for hits, pim - has more pts in him than he's shown, I think he can become a 20-20 guy

Eriksson Ek is getting good opporturnity in Minnesota after Koivu injury. And if they keep trading away players his role just increases. He doesnt have crazy high points upside but already hits a lot and should not cost much to get.
