    Default McDavid Trade

    10 Team Keeper league
4 keepers per season, move up 2 rounds from previous draft
    Categories: G, A, P, PIMS, +/-, PPP

Team A receives (4th place): McDavid, Forsberg

Team B receives (10th place): 5th round pick, Hischier (10th round keeper), Zibanejad (19th round keeper), conditional 15th round pick (if he wins the league)

    Should this trade be vetoed?

I don't say this often, but yes, big time yes. That trade is indefensible in a limited keeper.

If this trade is aloud I’d imagine every other manager will be up in arms and could ruin the league entirely.

The trade has been vetoed by the league, just trying to prove a point to the manager of the team getting McDavid who thinks its a fair trade

The return isn't even good enough for just Forsberg lmao

I'm as anti-veto as it gets but man I don't think you can defend this trade in a keep 4. Hell you can't really justify this trade in any format. If somehow this wasn't collusion then the manager trading McDavid should probably be removed from the league (if it was collusion then both managers should be removed).

Some info missing here imo, the rosters, potential other keepers, can you even keep guys drafted in rounds 1 and 2 (because of the move them up 2 rounds rule), and the rounds that would have to be given up to keep mcdavid and forsberg.

In this format, with the info given, one could argue Zibanejad kept in the 19th round is more valuable than McDavid kept in the 1st. Or maybe mcdavid has to go back to the draft?

Depending on the players available in first its very possible zibanejad has more keeper value than anyone mentioned here.

If this team drafted mcdavid in the 1st and forsberg in the 2nd and can't keep them next year and he's out of it this year then might as well trade them. Just saying we need more info before it's automatically a veto imo.
