I strongly disagree. Several great tracks. Platinum 4x so there were a few million people who liked it.

Not rock and roll in the strict sense, but definitely 5 great albums in a row

In fact, I'd argue To the 5 boroughs makes it 6 in a row, but I'm a big fan.

A lot of people dont like that one. I think 6 of the 8 tracks are classics and it is certainly a "great" album, just more acoustic.

5 in a row is very hard unless it is one of the all time great bands. And sales alone is not the end all be all. But sticking my neck out here:
    Aerosmith 1973
    Get your Wings 1974
    Toys in the Attic 1975
    Rocks 1976
Draw the Line 1977 ( weakest of the bunch but not as bad as some make it out to be)

Love the doors, but soft parade my least favorite here.

Sadly, between Meddle and The Dark Side of the Moon, is the horribly mediocre Obscured by the Clouds.

I think all 5 of those are great albums! Wish you were here is my fav.

Black Sabbath only made 3 great albums in a row (actually, they only made three great albums period), but I think the first two are so amazing they should each count double.

Though I can see how some purists could argue Magical Mystery Tour is not a "real" album. It's personally among my favourites.
No question, the Beatles did a lot of great stuff. Sadly, I also think they churned out a LOT of garbage...

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is considered by many to be their "masterpiece".

i agree here as those first 4 are GREAT classic albums , not many bands can put out 5 in a row , if any.
