Got offered his Keller and 2nd a few years out for my Duchene
Im in a mini rebuild with some high end early 20s guys(DeBrincat, Conner,Guentzl etc. etc). Matty D would actually be considered old on my current roster at 28 years old. The other manager is in the race this year. Do you do it?

I like the idea of picking up Keller for your team, but see if you can get a pick for next season. There's a lot of buzz but also volatility with Duchene right now, it could be a smart time to move him, so I'd continue pursuing this and seeing what you could get.

How many players does each team keep? Need to know roughly what a third is worth, but I think that's better than a 2nd several years from now.

Each team keeps 17 of their 32 player limit.

5 rd draft. There is a lottery for pick placing, but the 3rd belonged to the last place team in the league so it will be a high 3rd

Oh wow, so picks beyond the first few aren't worth a lot, then, eh, if 255 players are kept (17 players for 15 teams)? Maybe consider asking for a second blue-chip young player who may be keeper worthy for you to the deal instead of a pick. That said, I think Keller for Duchene alone is a fine deal long-term, but you might be in a position to push for a little more at this deadline...

You are this close to the deadline, I’d wait to see where Duchene lands before shopping him off. His value is likely to go up in fantasy terms after the trade.
