For the team in my sig.

Looking at the rest of the season there's talk everywhere about the ducks and Canucks schedules. Made a trade that sent Hayes and landed Boeser with other pieces, so I'm prepping. That being said, Perry and Gibson are sitting as FAs. Orpik was a streamer from last week so he's easily gone and was think grabbing Gibson.

I'm more than likely making the playoffs, so would a drop Orpik grab Gibson thing be wise and wait it out? Or should I do a drop Orpik, grab Gibson, drop Ehlers, IR Gibson and pickup Perry? Wait it out on ehlers in my IR and swap him with any injuries I may get? (Nobody has been interested in ehlers all year so I think a trade is not happening especially while injured unless it's for a really low pick next year.)

    Any thoughts on this strategy?

I'd drop Orpik in a millisecond for anyone you think will be useful.

Grabbing Gibson makes sense. I don't think Perry is as useful as Ehlers will be, so I'd hold there.

Yeah orpik is the obvious drop, he failed me last week for the little I hoped for anyway.

That's what I'm thinking, I know anaheims schedule is great for the playoffs, but a packed week also means b2b someone's so he'll probably lose some starts.

Greiss is also an option, might be another idea since Holts and Lundy have so so damn up and down. Greiss almost guaranteed to play a game today to tomorrow, might pull that for now and wait on Gibson, don't think he's going anywhere. That might be my play..... Still not sure
