It's really hard to get comparable value for Erik Karlsson. However, this is something I'd take.
I'd think goalies are tough to come by in your league, and Hart looks to have a bright future. Pettersson has a very bright NOW.

I like it since you get Pettersson and Hart. It leaves you much weaker when it comes to NHL-ready defensemen but if you're rebuilding I suppose you've got time for guys like Hughes and Dobson to come up and make meaningful impacts. Might be a couple of years though.

Yep, definitely a good trade for you. Before accepting I’d put the rest of the league on notice that you have an offer for EK that you are going to accept if no one else can beat it.

Most EK offers fall far short, but this one is actually pretty good, especially in your situation. I'd take that deal if I was in a rebuild, maybe see if you can squeeze a pick out of him.

Wow. I'd almost always say no to a Karlsson deal but Pettersson is ridiculous, Hart looks good, and a 1st. Yeah. Take it.
