    Default Price vs. Binnington

Who would you prefer rest of season, points only?

To save myself some time with an explaination, I will redirect you to my previous thread posted this morning: https://forums.dobbersports.com/show...cure-The-(rep)

I personally am leaning towards Price over Binnington but I am not fully convinced I should use a move on a goalie. Thoughts in either post are appreciated and will be rep'd (where possible).

Man, I think I'd say Binnington.

Andrew Hammond's name keeps surfacing, but unlike the undrafted Hammond, Binnington did have some kind of pedigree (3rd round). And I'd always heard that Binnington was projected to be a 1B goalie, in large part because of shinier objects like Jake Allen and Ville Husso being in the way. Binnington's been good-to-great in the AHL, unlike Hammond, who was mostly crappy in the AHL and junior. Some level of this could very well be real. He's obviously not going to have a .951 5on5 save percentage all year. But he has been unlucky on the power play, so there's room for him to get better in that department and get back to the mean. Binnington's going to play at least half the games unless he does a complete u-turn and contracts Darling-itis.

Price seems to be doing what we'd expect, without much reason to belive that he'd sharply increase his performance. I think Binnington can match what Price has been doing for the rest of the year. And I think the Blues will outpoint the Canadiens, which gives the edge to Binnington. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some blue and gold Kool-Aid to drink.

Rest of Season, I'll take binnington. In a keeper/dynasty - it's Price. (until it's not)
