after looking at my schedule for the next 2-3 weeks... I would only be able to play debrusk twice or I would need to keep another forward on the bench and play debrusk.
Would I be making a mistake if I drop Konecny for debrusk?

I would say at best DeBrusk is equal to your current forwards, so I don't see a point in making a move. If you can make a 2 for 1 trade and pick him up, then great.
