    Default Couture or Guentzzel

Trying to weigh this points only dynasty league trade offer. It's my main league in sig. Thoughts on these 2 guys?

Couture is a reliable .75 points per game guy, who is having what looks like his best career season. maybe the add of Karlsson pushes the Sharks all ahead to up to a .85 points per game, which is about a 70 point pace.

Guentzel is having his best year, but is he really a 75 point guy going forward?

I'll take the more proven Couture.
10 team pts-only keeper league - keep 10 plus 10 from past/present farm. No bench: entire active roster counts. Goalies: 2 pts/win + 3/shutout. 82 adds / year. NHL playoffs count for separate prize.

That's a tough one. I do agree that Couture is more proven player right now but he is 30. Guentzel is 24 and isn't that far behind Couture. SJ likely has a better future than Pittsburgh, (Meier, Hertl, EK, Leblanc vs Pens prospects??). Guentzel has shown he's a point per game guy when he's on the top PP.
Couture is the more reliable option and will be on a better team than Guentzel over the next few years but I feel that Guentzel's ceiling is higher and he is younger by 6 years. I would go Guentzel.

It's closer than you think. Take out last year's regular season and look at Guentzal's numbers over his career:

    33 points in 40 games (2016-17 season)
    21 points in 25 games (2017 playoffs)
    21 points in 12 games (2018 playoffs)
    54 points in 59 games (2018-19 season)

Guentzel. I like that he's playing with one of the best centers to ever play and he's also got some serious talent. What I really like is that he has room for his deployment to improve, specifically pp deployment which I think becomes more permanent next season. He's still only 24 and some guys just take that long. I don't think he looks back from this season, only forward.

I want Guentzel here. I think Couture has his limit of .75/.85 points per game but isn't going to go above that level.
