Quick Trade Help Needed: Pasta vs Laine, Next Year and Beyond
Hi all, for the team in my signature, in a one for one deal, and only thinking about next year and beyond, would you rather have Laine or Pastrnak? I know Pasta is injured right now and likely out for some / all of fantasy playoffs, but ignore that for the purposes of this question.
I'm really concerned about Laine and even with his upside, I don't know how different he is from Pasta. I see Pasta as a consistent 75-80 pt player, and Laine anywhere from 50-100 pts, or more toward the mid / lower end of that range, but goal heavy.

Pasternak and its not close until Laine has an 80 point season. And even then, pasta is pacing for 99 points this year and on one of the top lines in hockey.
In your goal weighted setup its difficult to trade Laines potential upside but pasta is one of the guys that is more than reasonable as a return imo.
