2nd time I'm posting similar question.
Vatrano passes to Barkov, he tries to pass to huberdeau but petry stops it without control and Barkov sacks it in. No assist to Vatrano.
Last time I believe it was added. Wondering why this is happening a lot and if he will indeed get the A?

I just watched it and they have not credited an assist to vatrano. Nhl.com describes the goal like this:
'Aleksander Barkov regains possession after he has his pass deflected and knocks the puck past Carey Price for his second career hat trick'
That description tells me hes not getting an assist, even though I would say Petry did not regain possession on that play.
