Default Panarin for Pastrnak trade ?

Have someone in league willing to move Pastrnak , he wants Panarin + another player ( or pick for him )

Given my players and picks , would you make trade?

    What would you offer ?

    Or would you decline ?

    Thanks in advance

    Other Gm has ;

    Matthews
    Pettersson
    Toews
    Bergeron
    R.Johansen
    Pieterangelo
    Letang
    Dahlin
    Hischier
    Niederreiter
    D.Hamilton

2 first Rounders next year , no 2nd

He Does value Pastrnak over Panarin due to age and upside ,
He wants player depth for playoff run , no only interested in picks , but would take Panarin and picks for Pasta

If you’re in the hunt for a championship this year, I definitely would not do this. Pasta will be first evaluated in 2 weeks and Cassidy was heard saying Pasta will be back sometime this year (reading between the lines that sounds that it’s going to be more than 2 weeks). Boston is pretty well set in the 2/3 spot in their division so I dont think the B’s will need to rush him back either as they’d rather have a fully healthy Pasta for the playoffs. So you’d be giving up a healthy high end winger for a guy who will sit in IR for some / all of your playoffs.

If you’re out of the running for your championship this year, I’m still leaning towards not seeing a deal to be made here. Pasta and Panarin are relatively equal. Pasta’s main advantage is being younger, so there’s value to that. Depending on where Panarin goes in the off-season, he may be in an even juicer situation than he’s currently in with Columbus. If the youth factor is big for you, I can see the appeal to wanting Pasta. But I would not add any type of significant + to Panarin to get it done. Since you keep 6, maybe bundle Panarin + a guy who would be a keeper in your league, but just not a keeper on your team (like your 7th, 8th or 9th best player), since you’ll lose them to free agency in the offseason anyway. And again, this is only if you’re not in a spot to compete for the title.

Pastrnak’s injury timeline is unclear and he could miss the fantasy playoffs which wouldn’t do you any good. Pass.

    So what are thoughts if it’s a 1 : 1 ?
No additions , Get younger with Pastrnak , but give up 3-4 weeks scoring .

    I’m in a 6 way tie for 4th , only 6 make playoffs , and I taking a loss again this week ?

I’d be fine with a 1:1 if you’re conceding this season.
