Ive read that Philly May be in the market for some goaltending at this trade deadline.
How safe is Hart’s job, this season and going forward, if say a Talbot or whoever gets moved to Philadelphia?
I’m looking to draft him in my keeper, and I want to get a sense of his short/long term upside.

You didn't even mention the looming return of Elliott, who's on an AHL conditioning stint. Long term Hart is the guy. Heck - Hart is all but assured to be the guy next season as they have no one else under contract beyond 2018-19. My guess is they try to let Hart continue to run with the gig this season, but plug in Elliott if he falters. No reason for them to pick up a goalie now. They'll grab a decent back-up in the offseason who'll be good enough to play if Hart implodes, but not so good as to cause Hart concern that the job won't be his.

In my opinion, I think he's entrenched himself as the number one from here on out unless he completely shits the bed in the next few weeks and they have to send him back.

Hart is the guy, now and in the future. They turned their season around with him in goal.

I also think Hart is the guy, now and going forward. That said, a guy like Talbot ought to come awfully cheap in the trade market. And for an organization that has been chasing goaltending for, well since I can remember, I wouldn't be shocked if Philly were to bring in a veteran goalie if done cheaply enough just to add options to the stable. Not to threaten Hart's job, but to be there if Hart falters and needs some coddling (rather than getting shelled on a nightly basis) or gets injured.
Now, even if that were to be the case, I'm not sure Talbot would be my choice for them to bring in. But not out of the question, I suppose.

As long as the Flyers dont bring in Steve Mason and trade away Hart for a 2nd round pick, they should be OK.

Hart is not entrenched as the #1 in Philly for the rest of this season. He's waiver exempt, and the team management prefers veteran goalies over talented youngsters. He should be in the NHL next year in at least a timeshare, but there's no guarantee of even that. I won't even guarantee he remains a Flyer, although I'd be surprised if the move him, just not shocked.
I agree that he should be part of the Flyers NHL roster going forward from here, and most likely as the starter.
