Default So I pulled the plug on Tarasenko.

I know he is warming up, but my fellow GMs have been making offers on Tarasenko all season, and I finally got one that strengthens my defense and doesn't destroy my forward line.
I gave up Tarasenko and received Pavel Buchnevich, Max Domi and Dougie Hamilton. I don't think I got fleeced, but I've had Tarasenko for a few years so it feels weird.
    Thoughts, Dobbernation.

    Very solid deal for you.

Domi is thriving in Montreal and is entering his prime so between him and Tank alone this is close and should be a toss up for the next few seasons, but Domi could honestly become the better own in no time.

On top of that you get a buy low on Hamilton which is awesome, like super awesome, and though I don't expect much from Buch going forward I'd take him any day as a throw in (duh!).

A 3 for 1 trade. Which two players did you have to drop?

I had to drop Chicago prospect Dylan Sikura and Semyon Varlamov. Neither counting for me right now, neither a keeper.

Good return considering Tarasenko should be considered a buy-low, but then again, so is Hamilton at this point.

Tank is kind of overrated in points only leagues to begin with so I think you did well here.

Good Trade, especially next year on, if Hamilton can reach his potential may be a steal, and Buch has solid potential upside.

Don't mind this deal but can you keep Buchnevich or was this really a Domi/Hamilton for Tarasenko deal.

I made a similar deal (team not in signature) about a month ago, except the other way. I acquired Tarasenko for Hamilton and Koskinen. I had to consolidate my roster because I had a couple players coming back from injury. Tarasenko was a buy-low for me and has definitely worked out in turning his season around, but the same could be said for Dougie Hamilton for the other owner. Koskinen was a bit of a sell high.

If you have a specific need for your team, you might have to give up something to get something. I wouldn't call this deal a steal for you, but it sounds like it will definitely help you.
