    Default Malkin out?

I can't find anything definitive, but it sounds like he's out again tonight. Anybody know?

I've seen in a few places that he's out tonight.

Evgeni Malkin (upper body) won't play on Tuesday night.

Malkin will miss a third straight game due to an upper-body injury. He is listed as day-to-day. Malkin was on the ice before Tuesday's optional morning skate.

And so it begins... Penguins have 30 games left in the regular season.

Over/Under Malkin plays 19.5 of those games with random day-to-day injuries.

(39 mins ago) Malkin (upper body) has been placed on injured reserve, per the NHL Media site.Considering he's already missed three games and has been ruled out Thursday, Malkin can still return as soon as Saturday against the Lightning. Considering he's traveling with the team on its three-game road trip, there's a reason to be optimistic he will play either against Lightning or Monday against the Flyers.

"there's a reason to be optimistic he will play"

Hogwash! Whomever wrote that must not own Malkin in fantasy. He'll miss half the remaining games this season.

    Every. Damn. Year.

Except for last year when he played 78 games.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
