Holtby for Dubnyk

For the team in sig, was offered Holtby and Ryan Johansen for my Dubnyk and Dahlin. Who would you prefer in this scenario? The goalie with the better peripherals who's on the worse team (Dubnyk) or vice versa (Holtby)?

I stand pat. You will be playing Murray more often than either G in question. Giving up a beast keeper like Dahlin to acquire arguably the lesser G as well isnt a recipe for success.

Thank you for the advice. I don't know how much it effects your input, but it is not a keeper league.

In a non-keeper I would decide on this trade by the add on pieces. If you traded away Dahlin, which D-man would you be picking up to replace him? Also, do you really need to add another C? Probably not. I think I stand pat here. Nice user name by the way.

If this is non-keeper, I think this is a reasonable trade offer. Opportunity to buy low(er) on Holtby.

However, I like the idea of having a serviceable 5th d-man that you can rotate in on busy nights. I'm assuming this trade probably helps the other owner more than it helps you if he's targeting Dahlin (probably trying to improve defense). So I think I would pass too.
