Doughty by a mile. I get McAvoy is this 'hot' young D.. but man - his SOG are massive red flags. So far he's barely at 1 sog/gm for his career. Yeah, Gardiner & Suter cracked 50pts last year with under 2 SOG/gm, but they were both over 1.5 SOG/gm. Suter was #1 PP & Gardiner was on 1B/A back and forth all year - Tor had even distribution of units last year (not this year)
McAvoy is clearly below Krug. There's no way he stands a chance of supplanting Krug on that 1st unit until he starts shooting. Going to be hard to push him to even 45pts if he doesn't fire the damn puck
