    Default Trading P.Kane?

I've had a few owners in my long term keeper league approaching me about acquiring my P.Kane. We keep 15 players, scoring+roster in signature. The current serious offers are:

Chabot, a 2020 1st rounder, 6th rounder for my Kane and Nyqvist.

    or

Dumba and a 2019 1st rounder for my Kane.

Interested to hear some thoughts on these offers. My team won't be making playoffs this year, and I'm obviously weak on D.
    H2H league:

    C: Barzal, Backstrom, Larkin, Kopitar

    LW: Nugent-Hopkins, Pacioretty, Domi, Ehlers

    RW: P.Kane, Dadonov, Nyqvist, Gallagher

D: Gostisbehere, Montour, Severson, Edler, Sergachev, Chychrun

    G: Bishop, Murray

B: Dunn, D.Strome, R.Smith, Pilut, Galchenyuk, Athanasiou, DeSmith.

Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Goals (SHG), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG), Hits (HIT)
Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

    I would keep Patrick Kane.

Where are you in the standings? Where are the other two GM’s? How does your draft order work? I don’t mind the Dumba offer, but it still isn’t enough.

Thanks. I'm 9th out of 10. The GM's making the offers are both top 5, looking to contend this year. Draft order is complex, but if you win the consolation playoffs, you have the greatest chance of picking first, and so on down the line. No guaranteed top pick via tanking.

Ok. There is nothing there for you to trade Kane in my opinion. The Dumba owner should be paying way more for a superstar. His Dumba is hurt and the 1st is nowhere near enough.

    The Chabot offer is laughable.

He's worth more especially with your settings but can you get it? I am in a full keeper and it has been tough to get blue chip prospects for Giordano and Burns this year. As soon as guys hit 30, their value goes down. But I think Kane is going to age well and this looks like it might be his best season especially when you consider he is not doing it with Panarin or getting any cheap empty net points.

I would definitely pass on both of those offers.

Awesome, thanks for the input. Much appreciated. The move I am looking to make is to upgrade my D at the expense of forward depth. Obviously P Kane is my best player and if shipping him doesn't improve my team for next year, there is no point.

I'll keep looking for an upgrade on D elsewhere.
