    Default Rask concussion

Rask taken out and it did not look good for him. He looked out of it.

ruins say that Tuukka Rask has a concussion and he won't return to tonight's game. Meanwhile the Bruins are using Lady Byng manners when it comes to crashing the Rangers net

Chityl was bumped into Rask; stupid play from the boston D. At least from the replay I saw. You just can't do stuff like that...

I haven't watched this one but that happens way too frequently. I have no idea what the defenders are thinking in that situation. If I was the coach, I would bench those guys who push opposing players into my starter. Similar to QBs in football, you need to protect your number one goalie in every situation. An injury to your starter hurts the team much more than an occasional goal they may be able to score from those situations.

Cleanly beaten and magnifying the damage by checking the opposing forward into your netminder

73 McAvoy is the goat in this event

Lost in the conversation is the cheapshot by Wagner in the 3rd period where he hits Jesper Fast in the grill without penalty. Fast went to the quiet room while McQuaid takes issue with it
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

Yeah, that deserves a benching and a healthy scratch if I'm the coach. Ridiculously stupid to do that.

Tuukka Rask ‘Feeling Good’ After Suffering Concussion, David Pastrnak Reports

by Erin Walsh on Fri, Jan 25, 2019 at 3:25PM

The NHL All-Star break couldn’t have come at a better time for Tuukka Rask.
While at the All-Star Game media day, Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak spoke with The Boston Globe’s Kevin Paul Dupont and gave an uplifting update on the goaltender, who is dealing with a concussion.
“I texted him (to see) if he was all good,” Pastrnak told Dupont, “and he said he was all good, that was our entire conversation — he said he was feeling good.”
The Finnish goalie suffered a concussion during last Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers when Filip Chytil accidentally slammed Rask to the ice while going for a puck in the crease.
The 31-year-old posted a 14-8-3 record through the first half of the season while recording one shutout and seven wins through his last 10 games (not including Saturday’s game against the Rangers).
The Bruins are back in action Jan. 29 against the Winnipeg Jets and only can hope their No. 1 goaltender is ready to go.

Rask (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Monday retroactive to Jan. 19 and won't be in the lineup versus Winnipeg on Tuesday.
Spin: Based on his retroactive designation, Rask can still be activated ahead of Thursday's clash with Philadelphia. In the meantime, Zane McIntyre was promoted from the minors on an emergency basis and figures to backup Jaroslav Halak against the Jets on Tuesday.
