Is there news on Edler?
I got an alert from Yahoo saying he's been dropped by over 900 fantasy teams. But that doesn't show up at all when you go to their transaction trends. No mention of a lot of drops. Anyone know what the story is? Is Yahoo colluding with the Russians to wreck my fantasy team? I realize he might be traded as a rental, but heck, that would only increase his value, wouldn't it? Very strange.

I can't find any reason so many people are jumping off the Edler ship today. They even play the Friday & Sunday off nights to close out the week.
Could just be a snowfall effect with people in shallower leagues dropping him after 2 weeks with no points and then others see he's being dropped and go ahead and follow suit.

I haven't seen anything but a comment - I'm not sure a trade increases his value. Teams that will want him will almost certainly have a pp1 quarterback and he may not get top pairing minutes depending on where he lands. A trade likely decreases his fantasy value imo.Originally Posted by jimc21

I would be willing to bet that it was due to the Canucks only playing twice this week, and nothing more.
