    Default Gibson worth trading for?

I still need a G who will munch some minutes for me and the guy who owns Gibson could be a trade partner. He has Holtby and Fleury, lacks scoring depth, and his D's aren't awesome. I was thinking about offering a trade but I'm not sure if Gibson is worth it. The guy has lost 8 straight (or is it 10?) and ANH doesn't seem to be going anywhere. My other option is to drop someone (likely Trouba) and grab a FA. Out there are Brossoit, Koskinen, DeSmith, McIlhenny, Kuemper, Sarros and Blackwood. Better off trading or simply picking up a FA?

Any chance you could trade for Holtby or Fleury instead?

I wish. But he’s in first place and this guy would run over his grandmother to win our league this year. No way he’s going to trade me one of those guys. I would probably have to part with Crosby and Backstrom. It’s a nice though though.

If that's the case I would actually make him hold Gibson. Keeping Gibson will actually drag 1st's goaltending down, and it forces him to use another roster spot on a goalie instead of a skater.

I would instead try to bulk up my skaters, hope Fleury rests a little more closer to the end, and win GAA/Sv%.

I'd be inclined to grab Koskinen off the wire instead of giving up an asset to get Gibson. Gibson is an amazing goalie, but Anaheim is probably the weakest team in the league this year and Gibson's numbers suffer accordingly.

Yeah, I guess Gibson is probably not worth giving up an asset that I would trade. I did inquire about MAF but I think it would take too much to get him. As long as they keep Rittich as 1A, I might be ok. But Helly seems to have been losing starts of late, and for good reason. I wonder if Brossoit as a handcuff would be as wise as Koskinen. Or Blackwood with favorable matchups?
