Can anybody that follows the caps tell me whats wrong with him lately. I've been winning despite his low point totals lately.

Killing me too. Was a beast last year. This year heard he’s been just missing hitting the bar. Passes deflected.

I share your perception that he hasn't been performing, but he has 37 points in 39 games. That's pretty good. His shooting % is also only 7.3% (roughly half what it was last year). He can be streaky (if I remember correctly), and I think he'll finish similar to last year with ~80 points.

He doesn’t look like he has the same spark he did at the beginning of the year. It seems like after he took that hit to the head Vs Winnipeg, and got sidelined for a couple weeks in November he hasn’t got back up to full speed. He’s been good.. but not dominant and dazzling to watch as he can be.

I don't see a problem here. Lately he's a bit below his season average but he's not in a huge slump. Plus he's had an up-and-down career and there's plenty of time for him to get back to last year's pace.

Don't feel bad...I have Marchessault and William Karlsson...Vegas has won 7 of 9 or something.
In the last 23 goals scored by Vegas, they combined have 1 point.
