I mean it's a reasonable offer and C's are easier to come by than RW's. That said you have a really strong right wing core.

Moreover, why trade matthews for a reasonable amount or make a fair trade giving him away? He is one of the few players in the NHL that has outrageous name value. If you deal him id want more of a clear cut win than just pasta (which I admit seems reasonably fair). No reason to do the deal imo.
    Set roster weekly in H2H (Mon to Sun) - 16 Teams - start 6F, 3D, and 1G per week - Keep 2

    Points: 2 G / 2 A / 1 PPG / 1 PPA / 1 Hat Trick / 1 SHG / 1 SHA / 1 GWG - 3 Goalie Win / 2 Goalie Loss in SO or OT / 5 goalie SO

    Forwards:
    C. McDavid, N. Kucherov, R. O'Reilly, J. Schwartz, J. Toews, J. Huberdeau, T. Toffoli, M. Granlund

I second MZac, seems like a lateral move and a trade for the sake of making a trade (which personally I like to avoid) with your strong RW depth

Great point about trying to sell him incredibly high if you're going to sell.

I like the deal for positional value, but it's not one you need to make. Really, it's about the followup deal: What RW do you move out for help elsewhere?

I'd hold Matthews. We haven't seen how far he will progress. Trading him requires an overpay and this isn't it (although it's not a terrible offer).
