Default Who to sell low on? who will rebound? Contending this year

    Hi guys,

I am currently 1st and am contending to win this year. I need help identifying on my sell low potential players and those who may not rebound 2nd half of year (so i can trade them). I am also struggling on my Keep 6 (currently unsure who to keep).

Schenn : sell low or keep because he'll have a better 2nd year?
Gostisbehere: sell low or keep because he'll have a better 2nd year?
Hamilton: sell low or keep because he'll have a better 2nd year?
Getzlaf: sell low or keep because he'll have a better 2nd year?

This is such a tough game to play....if i had a crystal ball I'd say Keep Schenn and Hamilton.....Ghost would be my next but Getzlaf I don't see turning around.

Good info from HTM - Getz would be the one definitely trying to trade, especially if he has a couple good games. Still has the name so has some value, but is battling father time and you know who wins there.

I think getz rebounds this season. Someone in Anaheim eventually has to score and he'll be getting the deployment and assists. I'd take him over any of the others mentioned for a 2nd half rebound.

Of the 4 , Schenn is the one i would trade. I don’t really see him bounce back in the second half.

Getz, Ghost, Schenn and Hamilton in that order for most likely to have a strong second vs least likely.

If you are still in the running I would keep Ghost and Schenn. Schenn is playing solid minutes and performing good enough to expect a decent output. Ghost - decent dmans are hard to come by.

For keepers, I personally would a bit iffy of keeping Trocheck (I am keeping it, him but wouldn’t if I was in your position).

At this point, if I was you I would wait a couple more weeks before making a decision.

    Getzlaf stat line tonight:

    1 goal
    1 assist
    5 shots
    2 hits
    1 block
    21:55 toi

I want to reiterate not to sell short on this guy because he had a rough 8 games. He hasn't forgotten how to play hockey and is not yet over the hill.

Hamilton is generally a second half performer, I'd hold him.

I'm not sure any of them are good to sell low right now, honestly.

Hamilton has turned it on a bit recently and is seeing time on PP1. Hasn’t completely knocked out Faulk yet though.
As for Getzlaf, I’d hold. A coaching change will happen sooner than later and he’ll benefit from that.
