My Teuravainen/Pacioretty/Ehlers vs. Nylander/Hischier

Give me your toughts please !

Here's why I think I should make the trade (view league settings below to better understand):

1) Teuravainen will be an RFA at the end of the year, so I expect a contract similar to Nylander (7,5 M$ AAV). I think Nylander has more upside playing with the Leafs/Matthews and will be handy come playoff time.

2) The other guy wants Pacioretty for the playoffs and I wouldn't keep him with his next contract kicking in next year. He's a throw-in the other guy wants for the playoffs only.

3) Hischier has already the same point pace as Ehlers the last 2 seasons, but I would have one more cheap year at 3,75 M$ vs. 6 M$. Plus, he is already established as the #1 center and on the 1st PP. with the Devils. Ehlers will keep fighting with Connor for the #1 PP unit.

Why I shouldnt do it:

1) Teuravainen can sign a bridge of 2 years with an AAV of 5 M$ and I would have the same production as Nylander for less money!

2) Ehlers plays on a high scoring team and Hischier plays for the boring Devils, so the lack of #1 PP for Ehlers may bring the two players very close !

League settings:

Real NHL salary cap (79,5 M$ with AAV)
6 teams (i'm in 5th place way behind)
Dress: 2G, 6D, 12F
Bench: 10 players

Last 2 years, I finished 1st and 2nd, but it seems like every players except mine are overperforming this year. So I have no chance to finish in the top 3.

There is a winner for the season, and we reset the standings for the NHL playoffs without any salary cap. So, all big salaries can be dressed in the playoffs.

Given my lineup, I can't compete in the playoffs !

I take the Nylander/Hischier side...mostly cuz I'd be scared to own Pacioretty. Think you should ask for a sweetener, though.
