Hold Brady Tkachuk?
I'm looking at picking up JT Miller and Brandon Pirri from the wire. I have a man crush on Miller and his potential for another point per game performance in the second half. Had to drop him as we only get one IR spot and Vinny was already there.
I typically use Compher's roster spot as a streaming option each week for someone who is hot on a team that has a heavy schedule; so I need one more drop.
Tkachuk offers peripherals but has been ice cold of late. He is still getting ice time on the top PP unit and is skating with Stone and White at evens so I am tempted to hold and let him break out of this rookie slump and start contributing again.
Thoughts?

I guess my question is, can Brady return to elite status this year? With his peripherals, hovering around a point per game would make him elite.

I dumped him. Like you, I was optimistic that with his TOI and the guys he's playing with, he'd start lighting it up again. But I don't know that we have time to waste on him right now. He's a rookie and you can't count on him.

He has played a total of 34 games. Unless you're McDavid or Barzal, there is no elite status for a raw player. Maybe in a few years.Originally Posted by hauves
