This owner really wants Gostisbehere from me and offered this up at first he offered up S.Gostisbehere and my 7th round draft pick for W.Simmounds and a 5th round draft pick, I declined and now this is the new offer what do you guys think ? I'm new to this so any help would be appreciated.

I'd like to give you some advice, but I need to know a few more things about your roster.

First, what is your full roster, with positions? I'd like to know what depth you have at forward and defense. Can you afford to give up Gostisbehere (even if he is struggling) for a Center? Do you even need another Center? I will say that with Bishop and Gibson, I don't think that you need Halak.

If you post your full roster with positions, I can look over your roster and give you my opinion.

At first glance, I like this deal for this year, but it becomes iffy moving on. As SeaDawg said, it'd help to know your full roster.

I felt the same way this season looks good but I think losing a early pick and essentially most likely not keeping Halak or Johansen this trade might not make sense.

IMO... this is a weak sell low on Ghost. I would pass. I'm also not a Johansson fan. just can't get on board

Now that I see your full roster, I don't like the deal for you. I know Gostisbehere is having a really bad year, but you don't have a lot of depth on defense. On the other hand, your forward depth is pretty decent. I wouldn't make the deal if it were me.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up declining after all, I figured that trade would be all for nothing since I wouldn't be keeping those two players for next year AND losing a 3rd rounder would make this trade favor his side.
