The answer is probably to be patient.
Another bad outing?
Is it time to trade him while he still has some value?
Or be patient once again?

The guy is snake-bit right now so stay patient. A little unfair to say it was a poor outing. The first goal is tipped in by Wheeler. Second goal ricochets in off a guy's head. Third goal didn't actually go in the net (the replay angle created the impression it did it wasn't a shot directly over top the net).

I don't see his numbers getting any better under Maurice. He peaked last year and I don't trust this team to go any further than they did last year until Maurice is replaced.
I disagree. Maurice is a good coach and I don't know if the results would be any different with someone else. He must be under pressure for sure.
Helly is trying too hard, like two years ago. He is trying to live up to the contract and it's killing him. He has the skills and the mental toughness. I wonder about a better goalie coach but this year is really ridiculous when it comes to goalies. He doesn't have one shutout this year and outside of Fleury, Andersen and maybe Bob, the rest of the league's starters are pretty well all the same.... average. Weird, weird year and it's exactly how the NHL wants it. Might cause a re-evaluation of goalie value in pools, and soon.

He's like so many other goalies. Momentum is key. When the going is good he's outstanding. When times get tough and he has to play himself out of a bad slump things will continue to be bad.
Craig Anderson comes to mind when it comes to momentum. At times he can win games by himself. Other times, not so much.

In a 24 team keeper league, trading Hellebuyck at his low point seems like a bad idea. You'd need a MASSIVE return for this to be worth your while. The Jets will bounce back.
Another big win for Brossoit...
It seems that a goalie controversy is coming up...

Agree with the first line, not with the second. Teams love when their backups win tons of games but make no mistake, this is Hellebuyck's net. His talent and his contract say so. It's almost like Price and Niemi in Montreal. Niemi has been great, even while Price struggled hard earlier this year. Now, there is no doubt, as Price hits his stride. WPG is looking for the same thing by resting Helly yesterday.

I think one of the biggest issues/problems Hellebuyck is having this season that's not getting a lot of attention is the reduced size of goalie equipment. He is one of a number of goalies (can't think of the others atm) who has been very vocal and critical in regards to the rule change(s) that effected the size of the equipment.
