What about for long term? I’ve already fully pulled the pin on this year and I’m actually trying to finish off weakly so I get better draft position.

What I’m more concerned about is if Hamilton would make the cut for me in a keep-6 situation that we are reducing to next year (then back up to 8 onwards).

Right now I’m looking at this:
    1. Mackinnon
    2. Seguin
    3. Benn
    4. Barkov
    5. Provorov
    6. Keller/Meier/OEL/Hamilton (haven’t decided)

So I kinda have to decide if I should keep Keller or Meier, or one of those Dmen. Having a hard time with that call.

I’m also starting to wonder if Provorov should be a keeper, but I am not quite ready to give up on him yet.

I would keep Meier and not even worry. Hamilton doesnt come close to making your top 6. That being said lets not forget that Hamilton usually puts up monster 2nd half numbers. so if you can get him at a more reasonable price there should be some value. Plus, Faulk will go down to injury at some point and we might see Hamilton thrive.

Yeah I'm starting to lean towards Meier might being the best option.

Different question - Hamilton vs Theodore? Not sure if the other owner would go for that but maybe that's a different option

Thats a good idea and worth exploring. It is certainly a reasonable and fair 1-for-1 swap. Two players who have disappointed. Dougie showed signs of life tonight so maybe he is ready to kick off his usual 2nd half scoring spree. I dont see Theodore ever being "the guy" in Vegas. Not with Brannstrom and possibly EK65 in the fold next year.

I would keep OEL over Provorov and Hamilton, he's a lock for that PP and will get you shots totals. He can fill your cats well compared to the other two.

To play devil's advocate a bit, I think Dougie Hamilton actually has the potential to be a monster in this format and is a bit more of a the boom/bust pick here.

He shoots the puck a ton and Faulk may be a candidate to be traded (4.8M for this season and next season), and if he does that opens the door for Dougie. OEL has not been shooting the puck very much for a few seasons now. I traded Anders Lee for him earlier this year in hopes that this year that would change and regretted it ever since (since dropped the guy). That being said I doubt either player is a keeper for you this year so it really doesn't matter that much.
Goalies: If I'm pickin em you best be sittin em!
